Painting "en plein aire" (in the open air) holds a special place in my heart. There's no better way to get the feeling of the place than to be right there with the sights, smells, the touch of the wind, the warmth of the sun and the sensations of the light.
The rivers of Montana are some of my husband's and my favorite places. He fly fishes while I paint, and it doesn't get any better than that!
